The questions every mover gets, answered straight. Anything missing? Call (604) 773-4302 and ask a person.
How do I get a price?
Start a quote at nashmoving.com/quote. Tell us where you are moving from and to, and share as much detail as you feel like. A real person scopes your move and confirms one flat rate, usually within the half hour. Prefer to talk? Call us and we will sort it out together on the phone.
Will the price change on move day?
No. Your quote is a guaranteed flat rate for the move we scoped together. If your plans or your inventory change before move day, we review the price with you first. The price we confirm is the price you pay.
What's a flat rate, exactly?
One price for your whole move: crew, truck, travel, and materials. There is no hourly meter, so a slow elevator or bad traffic is our problem, not yours.
What's included in every move?
A bonded and insured crew, shrink-wrapping for finished furniture, a brand new mattress cover for every mattress, wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes, and reusable moving tubs on most moves.
What are the moving tubs, and how many do I need?
They're sturdy reusable plastic tubs we deliver before your move and pick up after, so there is no cardboard to hunt down or break down. As a guide: about 20 for a studio, 35 for a one bedroom, 50 for a two bedroom, and up to 100 for a four-bedroom home. Every tub is professionally cleaned between uses.
Do you move outside Metro Vancouver?
We move across Canada, or just across the street. The first 50 km are included in every move; beyond that, the distance is priced into your flat rate and shown on your quote.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable. Month-ends and summer weekends fill first. A 10% deposit reserves your date.
Are you insured?
Yes. Nash Moving is fully bonded and insured, and has been since we started in 2010.
Can you pack for me?
Happily. Our packing crew comes the day before your move so your life isn't boxed up for weeks, brings all the supplies, and labels every tub by room and contents.
